Step 1: Application Setup & Storefront API Access

Please follow the below steps to create a Shopify application for Tuul’s chatbot experience and to enable Storefront API Access.

After you complete all below steps, you will need to share below credentials with your Customer Success Team:

  • API Key

  • API Secret Key

  • Storefront API access token

  • Admin API access token


Instructions

  1. Navigate to your settings in the bottom left hand corner

  2. On the right-hand side, select “Apps and sales channels”

  3. On the top, right-hand corner select “Develop apps”

  4. Click “Allow custom app development”

  1. Click “Allow custom app development”

  1. Click “Create an app”

  2. Name the app and select the developer

  3. Select “Configure storefront API”

  1. Configure the access scopes to allow for the following

unauthenticated_read_checkout
unauthenticated_read_content
unauthenticated_read_customers
unauthenticated_read_customer_tags
unauthenticated_read_metaobjects_
unauthenticated_read_product_listings
unauthenticated_read_product_inventory
unauthenticated_read_product_pickup_locations
unauthenticated_read_product_tags
  1. Click “Save” to save the configuration settings

  2. In the top Navigation, navigate to “API credentials”

  3. Click “Install app” and confirm installation

  1. Upon completion you will have the unique Storefront API access token alongside the API key and Secret key that you can share with your Tuul Team. You will need to share these credentials with your Customer Success Team:

    • API Key

    • API Secret Key

    • Storefront API access token

    • Admin API access token
